Green Mom on the Road

Last night I...

Packed my bag with an empty thermos (for my airport Starbucks), threw in a container of roasted nuts, a couple of fruit leathers, my trusty iPod, a book I've been meaning to read and my Clean Well hand sanitizer. The working mom is back on the road. My day today goes like this:

Up at 3:30 a.m.

In mini-van by 4:15 a.m.

At airport by 5:00 a.m.

Take off 6:15 a.m.

NYC by 8:30 a.m.

Meetings until 3:30 p.m.

Back to LaGuardia at 4:30 p.m.

Take off at 5:45 p.m.

Home at 8:45 p.m.

Tomorrow? I'm making peach pie. With ice cream. I deserve it. And, so does my husband who was at home, watching over four boys. Or, maybe my boys deserve the pie for putting up with my husband. OK, pie all around. Yum.

Ugh.... I wish I could send you a pie! When I traveled my youngest was so upset she made herself sick and missed 2 months of school. We had her in every kind of specialists office and finally figured out it was psychological. That is a long tiring day for you.... All of you deserve that pie:)

And here I thought I had a rough day ahead. I'll eat some pie for you today! ;-) Enjoy it when you finally get it tomorrow.
